John Schnack is a San Diego-based photographer specializing in sports and lifestyle imagery for corporate and commercial projects.

John began his photography career in 1991 as a photojournalist for the North County Times (now part of the San Diego Union-Tribune), where he photographed everything from politicians to the San Diego Padres. The lessons he learned there—finding great light, creating compelling images out of nothing, and knowing he had only one chance to bring home the goods—form the foundation of his work today. It allows John to be comfortable on any size shoot, whether it's a large-scale print campaign or a run-and-gun social media shoot.
